Session 0105 - The Music of Miami Vice (Airdate: 2/5/23)

We took a deep dive into the world of one of TV's most influential shows - Miami Vice. For those who weren't there to see it, it's tough to overstate the show's influence on pop culture at the time, and its legacy endures even to this day. Musically, the show was all over the place in the best possible way, featuring songs from just about every genre from punk to country and everything in between. This playlist represents a small sampling.

Just a programming note: we try to keep the show as Eagles-free as possible; however, due to Glenn Frey's frequent appearances on the show (both on the soundtrack and in front of the camera) we found ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to give him a double shot. We regret the circumstance, and will endeavor to do better in the future.
